The International School Braunschweig-Wolfsburg was founded in 2004 and supports grades 1 - 12 as well as an Early Years group. In the Primary School, in the Secondary I School (Years 6 - 8) and in the Secondary II School (Years 9 & 10), students work according to the Cambridge Program and graduate with the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). In Years 11 and 12, the school works offers the International Baccalaureate Organization. The Senior School is completed with the IB Diploma Programme. Roles and Responsibilities
- Work as a Primary teacher (Years 1-5) for several subjects (English, Sciences, Maths)
- Assess students’ performance and give feedback
- Participate in Teachers Meetings and Staff Meetings
- Use digital media in the classroom
Pre-requisite Qualifications / Key Characteristics
- Relevant teaching degree or licensure or comparable qualification
- Proficiency in the English and German language, both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Creative Problem Solving and "Thinking out of the box"
- Assertiveness
- Resilience
- Membership in a Christian church that belongs to the Association of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany preferable
